CLASSES

            3750, 4500, 5500, 6500

AGE OF DRIVER

            All drivers must be able to control all controls of the tractor from the driver’s seat. All minors must submit written consent of parents or guardian to enter the contest. Such a statement must be turned in at the time of entry. Each contestant enters the contest at his/her own risk or that of the parent/guardian and recognizes that he/she may be held responsible for any accident or injury incurred or property damage to others caused by him/her or his/her tractor. Upon entry each driver agrees to release all officials from responsibility or claim for any liability. *Each venue/sled operator may have age restriction

AGE OF TRACTOR

            1959 and older (any model of tractor that started in that year will be accepted)

DRAW BARS

            Draw bars must not exceed 18 inches in height or less than 18 inches from center of the axle to hooking point. No part of draw bar may extend rearward beyond point of hook. Draw bars must be stationary in all directions. No clevis.  Drawbar must be equipped with steel hitching device not more than 1 ½ inches thickness, and with a 3 ¾ inch diameter opening.

WEIGHTS

            Weights must not extend rearward beyond rear tires and cannot be more than 11 feet from the center of the rear axle to the furthest point forward. No more then 12” from side of rear tire.

TIRES

            No radial tires, steel wheels, or duals. Two wheel drive only. No cutting of the leading edge of the tire bar or casing allowed. Manufactured data must be intact. Tire size will be 229 sq in or less. Any rim width. No aluminum rims.

FUEL

            Gas diesel or LP fuels only. No alcohol or nitrous oxide fuels may be used in tractors. Gas is allowed a maximum of 750 specific gravity. All tractors are subject to random fuel checks. Tractors manufactured to use diesel fuel only cannot be converted to LP.

RPM’S

            Rpm’s allowed will be determined by the Nebraska test chart. Any tractor not listed will use manufacturer’s data. A 10% margin of error will be permitted. All tractors to have positive throttle stops.

RPM’S will be checked randomly after hook.

SPEED LIMIT

            Any gear, speed limit 3mph to be checked by radar. (No shifting of TA’s.) Puller will be allowed to beep the horn as many times up to cone, and if horn beeps after cone, puller will be disqualified. Cone placement will be determined by length of the track prior to pull.

CARBURETORS

            Replacement carburetors with no modification of carburetor or manifold. Overhang of carburetor to manifold is not allowed. Only stock appearing manifolds are allowed. Tractors must be naturally aspirated. No turbos or blowers-except Oliver 99GM, etc. Enhanced electrical systems permitted in all classes. No rev limiters.

ENGINE, FRAMES, TRANSMISSION, REAR END, AXLE

            Tractors engine must be stock or engine must me from original manufacture and bolt in without modification using existing bell housing and motor mounts. Frames, transmission, rear end, and axle housings must be original or manufacturer’s replacement. Dual exhaust not allowed except after stock manifold.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

            Wheelie bars, kill switches, all electric fuels pumps must be wired to the kill switch

**All safety equipment will be checked randomly by rules and tech committee.

**All decisions made by rule and tech committee are final.
