Thursday Versatility & Costume Class

Eligible for riders having horses stabled on grounds.

 

Versatility Sr. (age 14-18) starts at 9:00 a.m.

Versatility Jr. (age 8-13) starts at 11:30 a.m.

 

30 Minute Lunch Break

 

Versatility Adult 1:30 p.m. (age 19 & up)

(parents, advisors, volunteers, etc)

 

Each participant will be judged in the following:

Showmanship

English Equitation

Western Horsemanship

Barrels

 

Versatility Rules: (also posted in announcers booth)

1.       Contestants must remain in the show ring for the duration of the event.

2.       Attire: white, long sleeved button down shirt with collar, blue denim jeans, appropriate boots, appropriate hat/helmet, belt is optional.

3.       No chaps, scarves, tiara/crowns, vests, gloves.

4.       Attire may be inspected prior to entering the ring.

5.       Limit 2 helpers in the ring, in addition to rider.

6.       Tack changes will be 5 minutes.

Horses are no longer required to be stabled on the fairgrounds.
