Judging begins at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25
No entry fee, but all exhibitors must have purchased a 2011 Seneca County Fair membership or season ticket. Those under 18 may enter under a parent's membership or season ticket.
Judges decision is final and all awards are on the basis of merit.
Exhibits will be received on Sunday, July 25 in the Grange Building from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. Articles may be removed Sunday, July 31 from 7:30 p.m.
8:30 p.m. (Carry out only. NO vehicles allowed on grounds during tractor pull.) Claim tickets will be checked.
Items entered in an incorrect category will not be changed after judging begins.
We, the directors of the Seneca County Fair, do not guarantee the safety of the exhibits; however, precautions will be taken for their protection.
NOTICE: To determine if you are an amateur or professional, a professional is defined as a person active in teaching or selling your crafts or ceramics at stores, shows or by consignment. If so, you must enter in the professional category.
CERAMICS
Rules:
1. Articles once taken a premium cannot compete again.
2. All ceramics must be fired.
3. Bottoms and backs must be finished.
4. No felt on bottoms.
5. All ceramics must be made by the exhibitor.
6. Sets of several pieces will be counted as one entry.
7. More than one entry per category per exhibitor is acceptable; however, only one entry may receive a premium.
8. Ceramics will be displayed inside cases and exhibitors must have claim tickets before items are released.

HOBBIES
Rules:
1. All collections must fit in a 12x15 inch area and must be accompanied with or mounted on an attractive base, except card collection, which should be in plastic sheets and a binder. If exhibit does not conform to size, the superintendent retains the privilege to condense such exhibit if necessary.
2. Collections limited from no less than 5 pieces nor more than 20 pieces, except card collections and legos.
3. Collections must have been collected by the exhibitor.
4. Exhibits earning a premium may not be displayed at the next year's fair.
5. Exhibitors are encouraged to record on a card any information of interest to the public concerning their display; card will enhance their score.
6. More than one entry per category per exhibitor is acceptable; however, only one entry may receive a premium.

ANTIQUES AND COLLECTABLES
RULES:
1. Dealers are not permitted to enter.
2. Antiques must be at least 75 years old.
3. Cards giving a brief history of the item greatly enhance the interest of the item.

Seneca County Nursing Homes
Seneca County Nursing Homes can display arts, crafts and needlework. Ribbons will be awarded. One season ticket required to each nursing home. Items to be at fairgrounds Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 1:00 p.m.. 3:00 p.m. Released Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 7:30 p.m. 9:30 p.m.
